Today British bike brand Ribble Cycles have unveiled no less than four new gravel models, consolidating on the success of their award winning range including the Ribble CGR. These four models are available in three materials: titanium, carbon and alloy, and also includes an alloy e-bike:
- Ribble Gravel AL (alloy) £1,599-£2,399+
- Ribble Gravel SL (carbon) £2,399-£4,199+
- Ribble Gravel Ti (titanium) £2,599-£4,199+
- Ribble Gravel AL e (alloy e-bike) £2,699-£4,099+
You’ll notice Ribble haven’t gone for any specific naming for these bikes, keeping it purely to the intended purpose and frame material. Easy and Ronseal-esque, which is pretty refreshing.
Ribble Gravel frame materials
At the top of the range, the Ribble Gravel Ti is exquisitely handcrafted with a triple butted, custom profiled 3AL/2.5V titanium frame to ‘inspire confidence regardless of extremity in terrain’, supposedly.
The Gravel SL utilises a lightweight carbon monocoque construction with aero profiles to provide all-out speed, and combined with some very aero focused finishing kit should be the racer’s choice.
The Gravel AL is built from custom formed 6061T6 heat treated aluminium which is also used for the Gravel AL e – a lightweight electric gravel bike that looks, rides, and feels just like a traditional off-road bike. With the extra power of the Mahle EBM X35+ motor, you can explore further into the forest or flatten out the toughest mountains, claim Ribble.
Gravel riding has been embraced by the team at Ribble and continues to evolve covering everything from extreme racing, all-out adrenalin chasing through to the bikepacking adventurer. Our new gravel range has been created from a vast wealth of experience and design expertise, incorporating new R&D technologies and off–road specific details across the platform and will enable riders to experience trails in an extremely new and exciting way.

Design specifics
Every detail across the new range has been considered with off-road riding in mind, from tube profiles for extra stiffness, geometry tailored specifically for control and handling on rugged terrain, tyre clearance of 45mm for 700c or 47mm for 650b wheels, internal cable routing to to keep cables free from dirt and grime, and multiple mounting points including fork bosses to give maximum luggage carrying capacity.
The builds are finished with new components designed to further enhance performance and complement the design of the new range – working together to provide that ultimate ride experience.
Build it your way
Each of the four new models are available in a range of suggested builds, or can be fine-tuned and personalised using the Ribble BikeBuilder and Custom Colour tools. For example, the entry-level alloy build is available with GRX 400, 600, and 800 series options with price points to match. Another new and notable addition – both the Gravel SL & Gravel Ti offer Campagnolo Ekar 13 Speed as one of the recommended builds.

New? The Ti and SL versions certainly aren’t, just 3 year old designs with extra bosses on and limited tyre clearance based on properly new bikes
