Ribble Cycles have launched a new, redesigned version of their titanium framed CGR Ti. The titanium model has always represented the flagship of the brands critically acclaimed CGR Gravel range.
The design team at Ribble claim the revised platform takes a “very contemporary” approach. Resulting in a frame that performs on any terrain whilst retaining that special titanium ride feel.
Jamie Burrow, Head of Product at Ribble Cycles explains: “The new CGR Ti features what has become our trademark dropped seat stay design further enhancing the balance between torsional stiffness, compliance and comfort. The all-new 44mm head tube adds further stiffness when riding out the saddle along with increased handling confidence – this detail is a personal favourite of mine, bringing a beautiful touch of class to a very elegant bike designed to perform at every level.”
The Ribble CGR Ti boasts a handcrafted custom profiled 3AL/2.5v titanium frame. Seamless welds and tapered triple-butted tubing. Ribble’s engineers have applied a geometry which performs well both on or off-road in a multitude of uses.
Other improvements include fully internal mechanical and Di2 cable routing. Full mudguard and rear rack fitments and improved tyre clearances to accommodate 47x650b and 45x700c.
The all-new CGR Ti is available in three suggested builds and fully customisable on Ribble Cycles online BikeBuilder. Build options for the new titanium bike start at £2,299. The model shown is the Ribble CGR Ti Pro build with Shimano Ultegra Di2, from £3,999.

What’s the obsession of stiffness with Ribble….every bike is stiff this, stiff that…
I get you and it’s not just Ribble. Stiff is good if you’re keen on pounding out the watts and going fast, but we all want a little flex for comfort when going long and far off-road. Still, no one is going to buy a new bike if the designers boast its as flexy as a noodle, so stiffness is still the buzzword du jour 🙂
Disappointing that the recommended width fitment between 650b and 700c is 2mm. Why bother? To be fair, 45mm on 700c is a pretty good sized tyre. I suppose if you wanted larger vol tyres you’d go for the Adventure frame instead. Which might be my chouse anyway? 🤔😁
