Spec updates for 2021 Salsa steel bikes

Don’t change what’s not broken, or so the saying goes. The popular steel bikes from Salsa are undergoing minimal changes for 2021, with differences only in the build spec and colourways, as listed below.

Salsa Fargo

The Fargo is the original drop-bar 29″ mountain bike. It’s designed and built for mixed-surface riders who crave freedom and variety in their routes, and its cargo capacity enables long, self-supported adventures. The Fargo is also available in a titanium frame with carbon fork.

  • Triple-butted and frame size-specific seamless steel tubing
  • Five sizes (XS–XL)
  • Alternator v1.5 Dropouts
    • Chainstay length adjustable from 455–462 mm
    • Splitable for belt drive compatibility
    • Single speed-compatible
  • Clearance for up to 29 x 3.0″ tires (except XS frames)
  • 12 x 148 mm rear spacing
    • 142 mm and 135 mm spacing possible with Salsa Alternator Reduction plates
