On the first Sunday of every month this winter, join the Alpkit and Sonder Bikes team for a series of organised gravel rides alongside some local gravel riding legends.
Each ride will start from one of Alpkit’s flagship stores located in some of the best cycling locations in the UK. Discover new places to ride and make some new friends while you’re at it. What’s not to love?!
Alpkit will supply a GPX file of the route prior to each event. All the routes can be completed at your own pace. Just keep in mind these are social rides with gravel enthusiasts and that you are fully self-supported. There will be cakes and refreshments back at the store and plenty of time to catch up about the highs and lows of the ride.
If you’d like to try a Sonder bike, get in touch with the host store to book in advance. Bike hire will be free of charge, but will be on a first-come first-served basis. So move quickly!

Exclusively for this series, you will receive some Alpkit & Sonder goodies upon completion of the ride, and the more rides you complete within the series the more goodies you can get!
Tickets are just £5 and all proceeds will be donated to the Alpkit Foundation.
The first in the series held at the Ambleside store on 1st December, went down a storm. Everyone we’ve met at Alpkit/Sonder is super enthusiastic about the gravel scene, so get yourself along to one of the rides and hang out with some likeminded gravel grinders!
