A wintery climb to Llangurig. Expect a lot of winter and a lot of climbs on the Cafe Racer Bearbones Winter Bikepacking Event.
Entries are now open for the Bearbones Bikepacking Winter Bikepacking Event, The Cafe Racer! From the team that brings you the BB200, the Cafe Racer is a more relaxed affair run over two days with an overnight bivi wherever you choose to stop.
Held in January with a different theme each year, the event title gives a clue as to what to expect. In 2013 “To Elan Back” took you to Pont Yr Elan and in 2015 The Ford Fiesta saw a *lot* of Ford crossings!
While you can enter now, you won’t find out the grid references you’ll be visiting until Christmas Eve. So If you need a good excuse to take a break from the festivities, you can break out the maps and work out how many (or few) of the grid refs you’ll visit.
The ADVNTR team have got our entries in and can’t wait to see what Stu and Dee have lined up for 2018, as for what the Welsh weather has planned… fingers crossed!
