Smokestone Bikes unveil Mr Harry

Smokestone Mr Harry

Smokestone bikes are the brainchild of Graham Foot, the  driving force behind Gloucester based Fatbike specialists, Slam 69. The release of Mr Harry sees the brand move away from dedicated fatties towards a more specialised drop bar explorer.

Crafted from 3AL/2.5V Titanium, the Mr Harry aims to deliver comfort through combining the legendary titanium zing with the ability to run 29 x 3.0″ tyres! A high front end and a 69° head angle give Harry the stability to confidently plough through whatever the trail throws at him. While our images show a Whisky fork, if you really want to tame the trail then the geometry is corrected for 100mm suspension fork fitment. Reinforcing the trail credentials are the inclusion of 31.6mm stealth dropper post routing and 148mm boost thru-axle spacing to accommodate those big treads. Sliding dropouts allow chainstay length tweaks and make singlespeed set-up a breeze, perfect if your derailleur gets wrecked far from civilisation! Reliability and convenience are further helped by the sensible spec’ing of a threaded BB and fully-enclosed external cable routing.

The Smokestone Mr Harry gives you options for loading up your kit. Two sets of bottle cage mounts inside the front triangle, the ability to run an anything cage under the downtube, and rack mounts on the rear if soft luggage doesn’t meet your needs.

You don’t have to have to be built like Bigfoot to fit on Mr Harry. The frames are available in 5 sizes from 52cm right the way up to 60cm. A frame costs £1600, but will also be offered with a range of forks and custom full builds. Smokestone offer customisation options on their Titanium models so you could tweak the frame to meet your needs perfectly. Graham and the team are waiting to discuss your dream build!
